Radiation Sealed Source (ECD) Training	Introduction
Welcome The ECD training course is for persons that will be working with gas chromatographs (GC) equipped with radioactive electron capture devices (ECD). This course covers materials specific for the risks associated with working with an ECD equipped GC; it does not meet the requirements for other uses of radioactive material, such as moisture density gauges or laboratory tracer work. This on-line course will serve as your initial training (the first time you complete it), and in the future will fulfill your annual refresher requirements. BEFORE YOU GO ON ----- Read the following statement: I understand that completing this web based program will fulfill my requirement for ECD radiation safety training at MSU.  I agree to read each section and topic completely and in the order presented, complete the short question and answer section and filling out the registration form at the end.  If I do not understand any part of this training I will direct my questions to the ORCBS for clarification.
