Welcome!The Chemical Hygiene Initial Training course is for employees working in a laboratory where hazardous chemicals are being handled or stored. The Hazardous Waste Initial Training is required for personnel who handle hazardous waste or prepare it for shipping. This is part of the Chemical Hygiene and Laboratory Safety Training. This course fulfills the general requirements under the MIOSHA Rules for Hazardous Work in Laboratories and the training requirements as required by the Michigan Hazardous Waste Management Act; Rule 299.9306 in accordance with 40CFR265.16. This online course will serve as your initial training for Chemical Hygiene Initial and Hazardous Waste Initial training.
